Dr. Marcus Romanowski, MD is a fellowship trained knee and hip replacement surgeon with subspecialization in outpatient partial knee replacement surgery at Joint Reconstruction Orthopedic Center. A diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, he served as the Director of The Knee and Hip Center at Kenmore Mercy Hospital, Kenmore, NY since the inception of the program in 2003 through 2016. Since the center’s opening in 2004 it has received numerous awards and accolades from national patient advocacy/quality measures groups and has been recognized as one of the top 100 locations for joint replacement surgery in the United States. He is a Cum Laude graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and an alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania. He has numerous publications in the field of adult arthroplasty and has presented at international orthopedic meetings in the United States, Australia, Germany and France. He is a native of Buffalo, New York and Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at Kenmore Mercy Hospital.
